RIAG Gebäudemanagement GmbH (RGM) with new Chairman
29. May 2007 - Fritz-Klaus Lange, a lawyer by profession, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of RIAG Gebäudemanagement GmbH in Dortmund with immediate effect. The 46 year-old attorney has been a member of the board since January 2007 and will head the company in future jointly with Dr. Thomas Meintz, Director of Sales and Operations.
Before his move to RGM, Fritz-Klaus Lange was initially legal adviser to the Confederation of German Industry (BDI) and then worked for ten years as holdings director for E. Heitkamp Baugesellschaft mbH & Co. KG.
RGM was sold at the start of 2007 to GHH Facility Management Holding GmbH (GHH) in the course of the planned flotation of RAG Aktiengesellschaft. For that reason, Fritz-Klaus Lange was simultaneously appointed to the board of GHH. In this connection, RIAG Gebäudemanagement GmbH will in future trade under the name of RGM Gebäudemanagement GmbH, and the change of name will be formally registered soon.
Together with his duties as a director, Fritz-Klaus Lange occupies various posts on supervisory and advisory boards, including those of VHV Vereinigte Hannoversche Versicherung V.a.G. in Hanover and Globale Rückversicherungs-AG of Cologne. In addition, he plays an active role in the governing body of Initiative pro Ruhrgebiet e.V., a non-profit organization with the aim of improving image promotion and the attraction of investment by businesses in the Ruhr region.
RGM currently employs a staff of 950 at 11 locations throughout Germany, and is engaged in all fields of technical and commercial facility management. The company achieved total sales of around 100 million euros in the past business year.
